By using and or ordering canvas prints or photo enlargements from the Achia Images site you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. The following terms and conditions have been put into place to protect our customers and our business

While Achia Images, has taken all due care in preparing the information for this site, it cannot however take responsibility for any errors or omissions. Achia Images will make every effort to update the website as needed. However, information can change without notice and Achia Images does not guarantee the accuracy of information on the website, including information provided by third parties, at any particular time.

Terms and Conditions

Image Copyright

When the you the “PURCHASER” submits an image whether by post or by uploading to the Achia Images site “YOU” have confirmed that “YOU” have all rights or obtained the relevant written permission for the respective image in accordance with relevant Australian and International Copyright Legislation and that we at Achia Images cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any legal action that may arise. Images available through our gallery are used under formal license agreements with their provider or submitting artist.

Liability

Achia Images cannot accept any liability whatsoever for any images supplied by “YOU” regardless of format, eg. negative print slide or digital file, that may be lost or damaged in transit. We suggest you use Express or Registered Post to minimize risk in transit and that you copy images that have a “high personal” value.

Order Acceptance

Your order is accepted once your payment by credit card or other acceptable financial transaction has been authorized. No payment is debited from your account until you have approved the soft proof.

Colour Representation

Every effort is made to reproduce colours accurately, matching as closely as we can to your image supplied, as viewed on a colour calibrated monitor. In accepting our Terms and Conditions our customers take on the understanding that in the fine art printing process discrepancies can occur when viewing images on un-calibrated monitors. Colour representation can differ from one monitor to another as can viewing the same image on your camera LCD monitor or a print, which has a smaller gamut of colour.

Longevity of the Product

Achia Images provides a guarantee on colour stability for a period of 1 year as long as the product is displayed or stored under the following conditions.

  • Indoor use only
  • Not positioned in direct sunlight
  • Avoid excessive humidity
  • Avoid contact with moisture or other contaminants

However we expect our products to be enjoyed by our customers for many more years. Our inks, papers and canvases are of the highest quality and are guaranteed by their manufacturers for more than 80 years. As part of our manufacturing process all canvas prints are liquid laminated for added protection at no extra cost. Should you have reason to make a claim relating the product's colour stability the product can be returned to Achia Images at your expense with a written explanation of the problem encountered. If the claim is justified the product will be replaced along with postal expenses incurred.

Pricing

All prices on this site are quoted in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of delivery costs and GST.

Image Alteration

By submitting an image to Achia Images the customer accepts that some cropping or editing may be necessary to ensure the image is sized correctly. If this is the case our designers will determine the best result in their opinion. Should our designers ever feel that the image supplied will produce a less than satisfactory result Achia Images will contact you before printing your image.

Delivery

Our turn around time is 5 to 10 days depending on workload and on delivery location. If an order needs to be fast tracked the required date for delivery should be indicated in the comments field within the order process or on the mail order form. If for some reason we cannot meet your deadline we will contact you by email or telephone. There is no extra charge for fast tracking an order. We use Australia Post or courier for deliveries depending on size and/or delivery location.

Delivery Damage

In the unlikely event that the product is damaged during transit you must notify Achia Images within 2 working days of receipt of the product so that we can contact our delivery partners. We will arrange for the damaged goods to be picked up and we will re-print your order.
